To the church in Marcham write

These are the words from him who holds 7 stars in his hand and walks among the lampstands, who is the first and the last, who died and came to life again, who has the sharp two-edged sword, whose eyes are like flames of fire and whose feet are like polished bronze, who has the 7 fold spirit, who is Holy and true, who is the Ames, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's new creation.

I know the things you do...
You welcome strangers with the love of Christ
You encourage newcomers,
You love to worship me
You provide for those in need
You have a strong leadership and develop and grow new leaders
You give and lead by example
You have a strong sense of family
You care for all ages and generations, both young and old
You reach out to and serve your community
You teach children well
You try to be faithful to my teaching
You make the Bible accessible
You practice hospitality
You are generous with giving and outreach

But...
You can be set in your ways
You are sometimes too busy doing to hear me
You have not removed all the walls that separate you from your community
You need to work more with other churches locally
You can be slow to change
You must remember that prayer is the power behind all we can achieve
You are lacking in corporate prayer
You do not always care enough for those who are housebound
There are still those who have not heard about my love
You can be tentative in sharing your faith in me
You are frightebed to offend for the sake of the gospel
You must not become complacent
There are still divisions among you
